The Porsche Taycan EV, a forward-looking EV, is undoubtedly one the most innovative on the market. The Taycan's bold design is complimented by a comfortable and engaging interior, providing an electric vehicle experience rivaling Tesla's Model S.
This all-electric SUV is a great choice for those seeking to buy an EV that's quick, agile and offers exceptional driving dynamics, but it doesn't deliver the same range as some of its competitors. However, the Taycan has super-fast charging capabilities, which can be a big plus considering its limited range.
It is a small, fast and sleek EV that is extremely easy to drive. While the Taycan isn’t as comfortable than some of its competition, it’s quieter on the road which makes it ideal to drive long distances.
The Taycan interior has many screens. These screen control everything, including the instrument panel and infotainment. There are two touch-sensitive touchscreens in the center console. The first is 8.4 inches up front. The other one faces the driver.

Specifications and Features
Although the Taycan is equipped with a minimal equipment list, it also includes everything from smartphone mirroring and satellite navigation. Upgrades to the Bose 14-speaker audio system are also possible. Those upgrades cost $2840.
Stylish and authentic
The Porsche Taycan is designed as a replica of other Porsche models. It's a slim, wind-cheating design that is distinctive from all other Porsche models on the road. It will attract attention from anyone who sees it.
It is safe and reliable, which is important for anyone buying an electric SUV. The Taycan receives a five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP, though ANCAP won't ratify that score.
If you're looking for an affordable luxury EV, the Taycan is a good pick. Although the Taycan is relatively new in this segment of battery-powered performance cars, it has quickly established itself as a leader.
In our tests it was able surpass the Tesla Model S. It can also out-accelerate the Lucid Air GT. The asking price for this unit is up to twice the amount.

Torque and power
The dual-motor setup of the engine produces a staggering 570 horsepower. This is enough to propel it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds to a top speed at 250km/h. That's more than the 370hp offered by some of its rivals, but it doesn't come close to the 520hp on offer in the Nissan EQS or 550hp on offer in the Tesla Model S.
That said, it's not a ludicrous figure to behold in terms of acceleration, and it's a big deal for Porsche, which is betting its reputation on its EV line.
Comfortable and Reliable
The Taycan seat is firm, but not enveloping, making them ideal for driving in high speeds. They're also very well bolstered and provide excellent lateral support, which is great for long journeys in the back.
The Taycan’s replete screen system is a key part of its appeal. So are its class-leading steering, and brakes. This combination makes it feel like a sports car. Add to that its amazing handling and superb agility, the Taycan offers the perfect blend of performance as well as comfort that Porsche has sought so many times with their internal engine vehicles.
